2007年的前两期都非常精彩。第一期是该杂志社的最佳图片评选。第二期则是新流派的肖像摄影。

这幅作品是广告类的最佳作品，Vincent Dixon拍摄。

纪实类作品的最佳是Ghada Khunji的一组作品，她穿越整个美国，发现那些不寻常的地方和不寻常的人们。“I want to show people the world,or at least how it looks from my perspective. ”（我想展示给人们世界的样子，以我自己的观点。）

这组习作的获奖选手是Andrea Huber，而这时，她是一个24岁的单身妈妈，她有一个3岁的女儿。

婚礼/肖像组的获奖者是Ted Sabarese，他说"I was shooting for clients on the side,and I finally decided to just take the plunge and do photography full time."(开始时我只是兼职为顾客拍照，而之后我开始了全职摄影的道路)

第二期的内容是婚礼和肖像摄影师的一些介绍。

婚礼摄影家Jerry Ghionis说"I don't believe in waiting for the moment,I believe in making the moment.I don't pose couples as much as I prompt and direct them in a way that makes them look both glamorous and natural."(我不会等待一个瞬间，我会制造一个瞬间。我不会让他们的姿势像是我安排的一样，我会试着让他们自然又富有魅力.)

Annie Leibovitz的肖像照片显得自然,他热爱自己的工作，"I don't have two lives,this one life,and the personal pictures and the assignment work are all part of it."(我并没有两种生活，个人摄影就是我生活中的所有。)

James Hill 拍摄的是一些逐渐"消逝"的照片，"I wanted to record their faces,because this generation is disappearing,year by year."(我想记录下这些面孔，因为这一代在逐步消失——年复一年.)

Albert Watson的照片风格是热情，画面中的女性也许并不美丽，但是画面本身却充满着情绪。

一副好的照片在不经意间可以讲述一个故事，而Michal Chelbin正式这样可以用图片讲故事的人"I tried to focus on the real person and not the mask。"(我瞄准的是活生生的、而不是戴着面具的人.)

Todd Eberle相机下的老人也在焕发着青春。他以为，肖像摄影并不是一个简单的事情."I approach everything similarly,but it's deffient with a portrait because you're putting a person in it,and you want to respect their space and not distract from.So I try to flesh out the environment with just as much information as necessary."(我认为任何事情都很简单，但是肖像摄影不一样。因为你针对的是一个人，而且要忠于他们自己的空间并且不干扰到他们。所以我尝试扩充这个个人空间，展示更多的信息。)

Matthew Rolston敏锐的发现人最自我的瞬间，"I hold that moment precious,Here is this famous person,and it's as if they're giving me a private performance.And that moment is ephemeral.It's there and it's gone."(我捕捉珍贵的瞬间，这些名人就好象在给我做私人展示，这些瞬间及其短暂，几乎转瞬即逝。)

Mark Laita试着还原真实的人们，"My intent is to remind us were are all equal.I'm not judging anyone,I'm just showing them the way they are."(我的意图在于让我们想起每个人都是平等的，我不去判断任何人，而是用他们自己的方式展示他们。)

Hendrik Kerstens的风格接近油画，一种古典风格。"It's a way for me to shake up the concept of time ,I'm taking someone today with modern tastes and portraying her in the style of 17th-century artists,as if to stop time and oblivion."(这种方法就像是改变了时间,我混合17世纪的绘画风格和现代的审美观点。就好象时间被停止、被遗忘了.)

Nigel Parry相机下的人物显得陶醉，也有着属于他们自己的时刻。
